Food Malmö and Case Sofielund Entreprenörskap present an incubator programme for food entrepreneurs

Food Malmö and Case Sofielund Entreprenörskap offer the possibility to join a free incubator programme for food entrepreneurs beginning in January 2021. The incubator is a 10 weeks programme with focus on local and sustainable entrepreneurship within food and drink in Malmö. The programme will be held in English.

Background

Food Malmö – Tillsammans för världens bästa mat i Malmö – is a collaborative project led by the Environment Department in Malmö. It is co-financed by the European Fund for Agriculture via The Swedish Board for Agriculture (Jordbruksverket) and contributes to achieving the goals within the national food strategy. The project aims to increase knowledge and access to good, beneficial, locally produced sustainable food and drink for all citizens in Malmö.

Case Sofielund Entreprenörskap (Entrepreneurship) is a project led by the Properties, Street and Parks Department in Malmö financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERUF) via the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket). The project aims to strengthen entrepreneurship and support people who want to realize their ideas through business consulting, training and coaching.

About

The Incubator consists of a full-day session a week where we guide participants in sustainable business models, Agenda 2030, food safety, product development, marketing, funding and much more, ending with a pitch day. In addition to lectures, we will also hold workshops, study visits to various food actors and have exclusive time and space at Sweden’s Agricultural University Food Lab in Alnarp.
